Music Classes

Do you have a kid who loves to move and wants to make noise? Are you looking for a general music class where your child can learn about the origins of music in a global, playful, and engaging way while also learning how to apply that knowledge to their current lives? Join us!

Designed for ages four through seven with space for homeschoolers or traditional schoolers, depending on your schedule, these classes will teach about music in a multi-sensory way, engaging all five senses through listening, dancing, games, playing instruments, singing, crafting, and notation practice. We’ll approach music from a multi-discplinary standpoint and play with the physics of sound, learn about the history of various aspects of music, and we’ll get practice reading and notating music and begin a casual introduction to songwriting by the end of the school year. And these classes will remain developmentally appropriate with plenty of time for play. Kids will get to make friends while they make music!

Classes will meet once a week for 16 weeks in the fall semester between August and December and 16 weeks in the spring semester between January and May. Enrollment is currently closed, but email me to get on the waiting list or to ask any questions!
